1 Program assets are comprised of monies invested in the ReSolve All Terrain Program.
2 The returns calculated refer to the Class FX fund series and are net of 1% management fee and 10% incentive fee above the hurdle rate benchmark as well as all trading and administrative expenses.
3 Risk allocations are calculated by multiplying the percentage weights in each market as of month end by the daily standard deviation of respective markets over the past 20 days, and standardizing the results. ‘Strategic Equities’, ‘Strategic Bonds’, ‘Strategic Gold’ and ‘Strategic Bitcoin’ represent exposures in the Tactical Market Portfolio Stack. Please see glossary and disclaimers for definitions.
4 Top long and short risk weighted positions are as of month end.
The Core Philosophy of All Terrain Investing
All Terrain investing is based on the idea that no single asset class or investment strategy consistently outperforms across all market regimes. By recognizing that economic conditions are constantly shifting – characterized by fluctuations in growth and inflation – this approach aims to construct portfolios that are prepared for multiple scenarios.

1. Global Perspective
By expanding beyond domestic markets, investors can tap into global opportunities, reducing concentration risk and increasing portfolio robustness.
2. Diversification Beyond Traditional Asset Classes
A well-constructed portfolio should include a broad range of assets, including equities, bonds, commodities, gold, and alternative investments.
3. Risk Balance
4. Thoughtful Portfolio Scaling
When diversification is maximized, portfolio volatility tends to reduce to such an extent that absolute returns often suffer. Scaling a well diversified portfolio pro-rata with the use of low cost leverage allows investors to move up to their preferred target risk while aiming for higher absolute returns.
Why All Terrain Investing Matters for Clients
Investors face an array of challenges, from inflationary pressures to geopolitical risks and market uncertainty. All Terrain investing provides a solution that is designed to navigate various market conditions while optimizing for risk-adjusted returns. By employing a diversified, balanced, and recession/inflation aware portfolio, investors may achieve:
- Greater consistency in performance across different economic environments
- Reduced exposure to extreme market drawdowns
- A well-balanced portfolio that tends to manage both inflationary and deflationary conditions well
All Terrain investing is not about predicting the future – it’s about preparing for it. By embracing a balanced, regime diverse approach, investors can build more resilient portfolios that stand the test of time. This strategy is designed to pursue sustainable, risk-efficient growth for long-term financial success.
